Al Dipartimento di Farmacia afferisce il Dottorato in Scienze del Farmaco, delle Biomolecole e dei prodotti per la Salute articolato in quattro curricula: progettazione e sintesi di composti biologicamente attivi, biofarmaceutica-farmacocinetica, farmacologia e tossicologia sperimentali, biochimica, biofisica e biologia molecolare. Il corso ha come obiettivo la formazione di Dottori di Ricerca con basi ed esperienze adatte all'inserimento nel mondo della ricerca finalizzata alla progettazione, scoperta, sviluppo, produzione e controllo dei farmaci e dei prodotti per la salute, nonchè alla comprensione dei loro meccanismi d'azione a livello biomolecolare.
