Linguaggio, LIS e riabilitazione: una proposta terapeutica in pazienti afasici

Abstract

A partire dalle più recenti ricerche sul sistema specchio, si va ad indagare la possibilità neuroriabilitativa su una particolare polazione clinica: gli afasici non fluenti. La relazione intima esistente tra linguaggio e sistema motorio sostiene l'ipotesi per cui l'osservazione, la ripetizione e l'apprendimento di una comunicazione viso-gestuale come quella della LIS, possa rappresentare, attraverso lo sfruttamento del sistema specchio, un valido strumento clinico come è già l'Action Observation Treatment (AOT).

Starting from the most recent research on the mirror system, we go to investigate the neurorehabilitative possibility of a particular clinical population: non-fluent aphasics. The intimate relationship between language and motor system supports the hypothesis that the observation, repetition and learning of a visual-gestural communication like that of the LIS, can represent, through the exploitation of the mirror system, a valuable clinical tool as is already the Action Observation Treatment (AOT).
