| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This article explores the gestural quotation in Japanese kabuki theatre and in contemporary mises en scène of French baroque theatre. Even if they differ from a variety of points of view, it is possible to identify a similar relation to the quotable gesture in both forms. Indeed, it is precisely the gestural quotation that underlines the self-referential techniques shared by these types of theatrical show. | en_US |
