| Abstract: | Il saggio indaga in quali forme e per quali scopi la Divina Commedia è stata citata nel contesto dello spiritismo italiano fra Otto e Novecento. Allo spoglio delle due principali riviste dedicate alla ricerca psichica in Italia (“Annali dello spiritismo” e “Luce e ombra”), si aggiunge un sondaggio sui riusi danteschi in opere letterarie a carattere spiritico-medianico. The essay examines the forms and purposes of the references to the Commedia in the Italian spiritism between the 19th and the 20th centuries. The analysis focuses on two of the most important Italian journals on psychical research (“Annali dello spiritismo” and “Luce e ombra”) and the re-use of Dante in spirit-mediumistic literary works. |
