| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This article aims to throw light on the techniques adopted by the Neo-Latin poet Pacifico Massimi in his Hecatelegium (1489) in order to deform his literary materials. These strategies include the parody of themes from Horace and Seneca; the parodic distortion of typical topoi of the language of love; the caricatural doubling of the authorial figure, depicted from opposed and deliberately contradictory angles. | en_US |
