Una nuova riscrittura dell’epica: parodia e satira nella “Secchia rapita”

Abstract

L’articolo ricostruisce il concetto e la definizione di poesia eroicomica a partire dal suo inventore, Alessandro Tassoni, esaminando e commentando i principii esposti nella lettera prefatoria e in altri luoghi testuali e paratestuali della Secchia rapita (1622). Si tenta inoltre di precisare i rapporti fra eroicomico, parodia e satira all’interno del poema.

This article reconstructs the concept and definition of mock-heroic poetry by examining and commenting on its tenets as first presented by Alessandro Tassoni in the prefatory letter to his Secchia Rapita (1622), as well as in other textual and paratextual loci in the poem. By the same token, this contribution aims to clarify the relations linking the mock-heroic, parody, and satire in Tassoni’s poem.
