The aim of the PhD thesis is the study and the development of a material, the CsPbBr3 owing to a class of all-inorganic halide perovskite (ABX3, A=monovalent cation, B=bivalent cation and X=halogen), to use as photoelectrode in a photoelectrochemical cell (PEC) in order to produce solar fuels and chemicals by the CO2 reduction. The material has to be synthetized and then morphological and structural characterized. The properties of the material have to be investigated to understand the ability of the perovskite to harvest the visible light, thus if it could work as photoelectrode. The CsPbBr3 crystals were then processed in order to obtain a film on a conductive substrate. The deposition of a thin film is reached by different deposition techniques such as the drop by drop, the spin coating and the ink-jet printing.en_US
