I Gemelli come specchi viventi

Abstract

La figura dei gemelli è un archetipo che attraversa ambiti culturali diversi. Nel presente articolo si è delineata una possibile mappatura della declinazione del soggetto dei gemelli, così ricco di implicazioni e strettamente connesso con il doppio, individuato e approfondito soprattutto dagli studi psicoanalitici proprio a partire dall'analisi di alcuni testi creativi. Si è tentato quindi un gioco di riscontri tra alcune opere letterarie e diversi lavori afferenti alla sfera delle arti visive, sia pittura che scultura, sia fotografia che cinema.

The figure of the twins is an archetype that crosses different cultural environments. In this article we have outlined a possible mapping of the declination of the subject of the twins, so rich in implications and closely connected with double, identified primarily by psychoanalytic studies and in-depth just from the analysis of some creative texts. An attempt was therefore a game of findings among some literary works and other works relating to the sphere of the visual arts, both painting and sculpture, and photography to cinema.
