Abstract

Il presente lavoro affronta l'analisi delle vicende italiane della compagnia Riccoboni (1707-1715) ed è suddiviso in tre capitoli. Nel primo viene affrontato il tema del repertorio tragico della compagnia e dei rapporti intrattenuti da Luigi Riccoboni e la moglie Elena Balletti con l'élite colta dell'epoca impegnata nel percorso di riforma teatrale primo-settecentesca. Il secondo è invece dedicato alla produzione tragica di Luigi Riccoboni analizzata dal punto di vista creativo e in rapporto alle sue riflessioni di teoria teatrale. Il terzo capitolo tratta della produzione lirica, teatrale e critica di Elena Balletti con l'intento di fornire un profilo completo ed autonomo di questo personaggio.

The subject of this work is the analysis of Italian affairs of the “compagnia comica” Riccoboni (1707-1715) and is divided into three chapters. The first focus on the tragic repertoire of the “compagnia” and on the relationships between Luigi Riccoboni (and his wife Elena Balletti) and the élite of the time involved in reforming first-eighteenth-century theatre. The second chapter is dedicated to the analysis of Luigi Riccoboni's tragic production, analyzed from the creative point of view and in relation to his reflections on theatre theory. The third chapter is about the creative production of Elena Balletti (dramas, lyrics and critics) with the intent to provide a complete and independent profile of this writer and actress.
